Looking at Ollie's post made me reflect on my time while Scouting and Venturing in ACS(BR).
Joined in secondary 2 after quitting the Chinese Orchestra as lazy as I was, did not practice, couldn't catch up, lacked behind and skipped  practically half a year. On the other hand, it just didn't catch my attention, interest, me like scouts did. It just seemed so fun and enjoyable. Slowing but steadily caught up with some of my batch mates. Became a Scribe in sec 3 and later in 2008 Vice-Chairman of Administration. I believe that in scouts, particularly in ACS(BR), it shapes you and builds up you to who you are today! To who you are supposedly to be! HAHAH!

Well, scouting and venturing isn't just about getting all those colourful badges to don up our uniform nor getting ranks and awards that we show off or maybe even cca points. It is the fun that we had, the friendship that we have built, friendship that we can be dependent on in the year to come. Memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Life skills, survival skills that will be put into test in future. Drills, outdoor cooking, pioneering, camp craft, survival camp, lectures, 45km hikes, Camps and more camps, Gangshow performances, overseas trips, morning PTs Weekly PLC meetings, the list goes on. There's so much to recall.

Not forgetting the many push ups and scoldings, silly things that scouts do...uh hmm! Fires! Soggy Maggie Mee!  Someone accidentally shot someone's else's eye .Haha! PLC squabbles, Scalds on my hand while cooking (who threw the sausage into the oil while my hand was there ah)! I must say I am laughing out now while typing this post as I recall my stuff.

Late! Overdue! AND I WANT TO SAY IT! Thank you PLC'06 and Venture Exco'08 and anyone/scout, venture for the times we had, though we have all disperse and gone to different institutions, I guess the still have something to recall and that the calling I'm ACScout brings us back together:
Thanks for the all the guidance, support and help. As well as giving me the opportunity to do some stuff and freedom of speech, though I didn't really used it. Haha! All the extra guidance that finally allowed me to catch up from my one year absence. The encouragement. The listening ears. And of course not forgetting your nonsense. Cheerios! :D Oh ya....leaders and seniors included!

Reflecting: End even now as have left school and may not come back as often! I don't think I will ever break away totally/ completely as ONCE an ACscout, Always an ACScout. Can't just dump aside and forget about what I have recieved and gained!
